We will see you at The Wrecking Ball! If there is an issue, please leave the wristband on and visit the festival’s Box Office to find a solution. Wristbands that are tampered in any way will not be allowed in the festival and will be confiscated without being replaced. Do not cut, burn, stretch, twist, tear, tape, glue, tuck, or alter the wristband in any way shape or form. In no way will one of these wristbands “just fall off” unless you make it fall off. Any wristband that is not applied tightly enough and can slip on or off will be confiscated and not replaced. Please note that they are also waterproof so you do not need to worry about it getting wet. Once it is on, it will make your wrist its home for the whole weekend. There is a little bead that slides down and it only moves in one direction and that is to tighten the wristband. These wristbands do not loosen or come off. Something to stress about the wristband is that it is non-transferable, meaning that you cannot use the wristband one day and then give it to someone else to use the next day. Lastly, here are some DO’s + DON’Ts for your wristband once you have received it: In fact, we would like to invite you to come and celebrate with us at our Pre-Festival show with Poison the Well that Friday (8/12, doors at 7:00 PM) or our Wrecking Ball Emo Night Pre-Party featuring Geoff and Tucker of Thursday presented by The Masquerade and Nashville Is The Reason (doors at 9:00 PM)! Tickets are still available, so come by The Masquerade’s Box Office any time between 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM to avoid online fees. Stop by any time from 12:00 NOON – 7:00 PM to get them! We really encourage that you come the Thursday and Friday before so that you can make your entry into the festival smoother. In order to receive your wristband, you will need to bring your festival ticket/ticket purchase confirmation/valid photo ID with you. ![]() Festival wristband pick-up will be conducted inside of The Masquerade’s building. ![]() Wristbands will be available for pick-up not only the days of the festival, but the Thursday (8/11) and Friday (8/12) before. Thank you for attending The Wrecking Ball ATL 2016 music festival to celebrate The Masquerade’s farewell to O4W on Saturday, August 13, and Sunday, August 14! With the festival only one week away, here is some information that will be valuable to you. Stay punk and rest assured that we are not going anywhere. You will continue to see our branding on concerts throughout 2017 and right up until the 2018 announcement. We are already working on the plan, and it’s a good one. So, rather than produce an event smaller in scope or ambition than that toward which The Wrecking Ball is heading, we will be taking 2017 off to both work on the long-term future of The Masquerade, one of the longest running and most storied concert venues in the country, AND to put together a suitable location and set up for the uniquely produced and curated festival that The Wrecking Ball ATL is and will become. The Masquerade has ultimately landed in a tremendous new downtown space, but one that, unfortunately, is without a proper space to hold The Wrecking Ball ATL in the next step of it’s progression. ![]() The process of locating a new home and then executing the move has not only been an enormous project, but has also taken virtually all of our team’s time and attention. Since the Wrecking Ball 2016 came to a close on August 14th, we have been working non-stop on the relocation of The Masquerade concert venue.
